Artscape is America's largest arts festival that remains free and open to the public.

The region's premier celebration of the arts featuring continuous musical performances by local, regional and national talent on four outdoor stages, indoor and outdoor visual arts exhibitions, film, theater, the Artists' Market with crafts and works of art for sale, opera, dance, fashion, literary arts activities, street theater and special activities geared towards children.

The festival welcomes a variety of performing artists including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra; family events such as hands-on projects, demonstrations, jazz vocal and combo competitions, children's entertainers and multiple street theater locations.

The music scene at Artscape 2012 will be headlined by Brian McKnight, Clutch, and the Rebirth Brass Band. Other acts include Navasha Daya, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Dontae Winslow & Winslowdynasty, and the Easy Star All-Stars on the Wells Fargo Stage (1400 Cathedral Street.)
